N.J.A.P.A. was formed as a professional organization for Activity Professionals working with geriatric and physically challenged populations in health care settings. The founders of N.J.A.P.A. joined together with common needs, concerns and goals to develop an organization that would clearly represent Activity Professionals in New Jersey.
